Need Some Eyeshadow Inspiration for the Holidays?
We know the holidays can be a challenge. Creating the perfect party look shouldn't be!
This season go bold with a jewel-toned smoky eye that's guaranteed to turn heads.
For this look, we used our Crown Pro Smoke Eyeshadow Collection. This palette features 12 spotlight shades in both shimmer and foiled finishes - each pod is a full 1.5" diameter! They are HUGE! In addition to the fabulous jewel-toned shades on the left, this palette also features 8 transition shades in a matte finish. These mattes are going to help build dimension as well as finish your look.
We also used several eyeshadow brushes from our Crown Pro Rose Gold Series! These brushes are 100% synthetic, making them super easy to use and suitable for everyone, no matter their skill level!
Watch the video below and follow up with our step by step tutorial to master this look!
How to Create the Ultimate Smoky Eye
Steps 1 & 2. Using your Crown Pro Smoke Eyeshadow Collection, pick a shade slightly darker than your natural skin tone. Take your CRG2 Deluxe Blending Crease Brush and dip into your selected shade. Gently sweep along the crease of your lid until blended. Next, pick a dark matte shade and blend into the outer corner of the crease. This will build a smoky base to build your eyeshadow look on.
Steps 3 & 4. This next shade is going to be the focal point of the shadow so pick a shade that will draw the most attention to your eye color! With your CRG4 Deluxe Chisel Fluff Brush, pack the shadow onto the outer two-thirds of your lid. In order to intensify the foiling effect of the shadow, spritz your brush with the Crown Pro All Day Setting Spray before application! Next, pick a highlighting shade and focus on the inner corner of the lid and under the brow. This will lift and polish your whole lid.
Steps 5 & 6. Pull the look together by applying shadow to the bottom lash line with your CRG9 Deluxe Precision Crease Brush. On the outer corner of the lashline, choose a smoky matte shade and buff into the lashes until blended. Next, grab a highlighting shade and apply it to the inner corner of the lashline, Finish your look with the Crown Pro Ultra Skinny Eye Marker and Volumizing Mascara, adding false lashes if desired!
