Frank Ippolito's Favorite Brushes
We recently asked @FrankIppolito what his go-to brushes were when applying special FX makeup and prosthetics. Here was his reply…
"VE9 Glue #2 - for getting glue on fast, this is my go-to brush.
VE5 Large round glue and VE37 Small round glue- I love the shape of these taklon brushes for painting details or precise glue application.
VE22 Large and VE23 Small powder- when you have to paint quickly with inks or pax, these are my go-to brushes. I can stipple color and break up quickly.
VE43 Paint brush- for the final finish on a makeup, dry brushing RMG or anti-shine is a breeze with this brush."
Frank will be at The Makeup Show LA on 3/1/14 on the special FX stage.
